ＥＤＸ（エネルギー分散型蛍光Ｘ線解析）のまあまあ分かりやすい解説
スペクトルや図解が多い。使用機材の例はＳＤＤ検出器で、Ａｍｐｔｅｋの機械と似た形のものですが、Ｒａｐ−４７などでは、これと同じ様な事を結晶の薄いシンチレーターでやっていますし、ＨＰＧｅを使ったり、他の素子を使っても出来ます。Ａｍｐｔｅｋの検出器部分は、７０万円くらいから。ＵＳＢ接続の小さな一体型があり、非常に魅力的。Ａｍ２４１などのアルファ線源や、あるいは、他の線源（素人実験の場合、対象とする物質で蛍光Ｘ線を発生させられるエネルギーを持っていれば何でも使えないことはない）を使って実験をする事ができます。
